The electronic signature on your computer

A title of the consignment note is signed on your computer, not on the server: the private signing key is never transmitted anywhere — otherwise the signature would not be yours. That is why several programs must be installed on the machine of everyone who signs.

You can check and install them in Settings → Integrations → Kontur.Logistics → Electronic signature ("Настройки → Интеграции → Контур.Логистика → Электронная подпись"). The tab checks by itself what is already installed and gives links to whatever is missing — for your operating system and browser.

What has to be installed

In short — four things, strictly in this order:

  1. CryptoPro CSP (КриптоПро CSP) — the cryptography itself and access to the key.
  2. CryptoPro EDS Browser plug-in (КриптоПро ЭЦП Browser plug-in) — links the browser to CryptoPro.
  3. The browser extension — the path from the page to the plug-in.
  4. The signing certificate — your key in the personal certificate store.

Step-by-step installation with links to official sources for each system is on the Installing the signing software page.

Install strictly in order

Without CryptoPro CSP the plug-in has nothing to work with. Without the plug-in the extension will show a connection error. After installing, restart the browser and click "Проверить снова" (Check again).

Which browser

You can sign from Chrome, Edge or Firefox — each has its own extension, and the tab will tell you which one you need.

The least hassle is with Chromium-Gost and Yandex Browser for organisations: in those, the extension works as soon as the plug-in is installed, and there is nothing to install or enable. CryptoPro CSP and the plug-in are still mandatory. If your company lets you choose a browser, those are the easier ones to start with — see Installing the signing software.

Signing in Safari is not possible: no extension exists for it. If you work in Safari, open the system in another browser for signing.

The certificate

You need a qualified electronic signature certificate (QES) issued by an accredited certification authority and installed in the personal certificate store on this computer.

The certificate must be issued to the legal entity on whose behalf you are signing the consignment note. There is no need to specify it anywhere in advance: the system will remember your certificate on the first signature and will expect exactly that one from then on — see Getting ready.

There can be several certificates

If you sign on behalf of several organisations, there will be several certificates on the computer. You pick the one you need at the moment of signing.

How signing works

  1. In the shipment or the request, click the signing action — the system will prepare the document.
  2. Check the signatory — who is signing on behalf of the legal entity. Usually they are already selected.
  3. Check the signing certificate. Usually it is filled in automatically. If the field is empty, click "Найти сертификаты" (Find certificates) and pick the one you need from the list.
  4. CryptoPro will ask you to confirm the signature (it may request the password for the key container).
  5. The signature goes to the operator, and the state of the note is updated.
If a list of things to fill in opened instead of the signing form

That means the trip is missing data required for the note — the system checks it before signing. Complete the record and go back to signing. What is usually required is covered in How a consignment note progresses.

If you cannot sign

The "Электронная подпись" (Electronic signature) tab shows that something is missing. Install what is missing using the link there, restart the browser and check again.

Everything is installed, but signing still fails. Check:

  • whether the key medium is plugged in, if the key is stored on a token;
  • whether the certificate has expired;
  • whether you have had the certificate reissued — in that case the administrator needs to click "Открепить сертификат" (Detach certificate) in the signatory's row, and the next signature will pin the new one;
  • if you are signing under a power of attorney — whether it is still valid.

The browser does not see the extension. After installation the extension has to be enabled, and the browser has to be restarted completely, not just have the tab closed. In Chromium-Gost and Yandex Browser for organisations there is nothing to enable — the extension is built in there.

You want to work out what exactly is wrong. CryptoPro has a signature test page: it sees the same components and lets you produce a test signature. If a signature works there but not in LogiFlow, the workstation is fine and the problem is in the note's data or in the signatory's settings.

If nothing helped, contact your administrator: some of the checks are available only to them.
